Ok, this place is not gourmand, but truly my local. The best whelks in West London, which is my favorite treat after cheffing all day. It’s Maine seafood shack meets London pub. Very chill, next to the Westbourne, mostly locals and a few celebs. I’ve seen Valentine Warner having a pint here, and Tom Cruise and David Beckham were having a chat at the bar a couple months back. Not that that matters by any means, but the place is definitely low brow cool. Plus the bartender always gives you one last drink even after they ring the bell…
