Enjoy a Healthy breather from your late sultry nights and learn some cool tips on how to get yourself lean and beautiful through food…This workshop is devoted to helping you learn how eat healthfully for your body, and our planet. I will explain in detail how and why eating healthfully is so important and how to create beautiful delicious food without chemicals and meat. I will introduce alternative grains, alternative proteins, raw and fermented foods, how to cook exotic fish and vegetable recipes, as well as various tips and insight into health and nutrition.
Introduction to alternative grains. How to cook them, why they are good for us, and creative healthy recipes. Introduction to raw and fermented food, how to make a few recipes, and why they are good for us. This class will have a focus on the Recipes from the Americas and Mexico.
Introduction to alternative proteins and how to pair them with tasty vegetables and salads. How to cook them, why they are good for us, and creative healthy recipes. This class will have a focus on Asian and Middle Eastern Recipes.
How to cook fish and shellfish, why they are good for us, and creative healthy recipes. This class will do a heavy focus on Italian and Mediterranean Recipes.
Thai food with a focus on fish and vegetables and raw salads. How to cook them, why they are good for us, and creative healthy recipes.
Open Class. We will make our lunch this class and we will decide on day three what we most want to learn and/or eat as a group and we will tour the local market in the morning to gather our supplies.
