Tytania Rose originally earned her BFA in illustration and design at Parsons in New York City. After working in couture and accessories, she went on to study at Chelsea School of Arts in London for her MA in sustainable textiles. She then went on to work with hill tribes in Burma and Thailand, developing their textiles to create accessories. Although this project has since unfortunately closed, with Tytania moving into the world of food and health, she continues to create artwork and collage when she is not cooking.  Tytania often incorporates food as her subject matter, linking her food design with her background in classical art training. Her collage work is often vintage collected food adverts from the turn of the century, highlighting the image of women in domestic and beauty roles at that time. By doing this, she attempts to empower the new role of feminine food making, embracing food itself as a means of art, importance, and sovereignty.
